Perhaps it's Sydney's persistently dismal weather but we think Abbey Lee’s latest photo shoot for Vogue Australia is the best we have seen in a long while.

Glowing at us like a little ray of sunshine from newsagent windows the vividly coloured, beach themed shoot bought us a considerable amount of joy whilst it bucketed down all weekend.

Abbey Lee once again delivered her youthful edginess while Vogue Australia’s Naomi Smith and photographer Max Doyle played with intense colour combinations and striking backdrops.

With summer on its last legs and most of us bracing for autumn there was no better way to see off the summer season than with a beautiful shoot that made you want to rush out, dye your ends pink and invest in bright blue nail polish.
