Day 4 Rosemount Australian Fashion Week

Ok sorry everyone but after a much later evening at the party than planned, day four was a bit of a right-off. Fortunately one of the team did manage to drag themselves out of bed to make the Gary Bigeni show. It was a really nice show, very signature Bigeni, clean and sleek with a palette of five block colours – black, bright sky blue, lilac, deep mauve and light grey. The show was accompanied by a beautiful looped film clip of Rachel Rutt surrounded by a with a sheath of sheer, billowing fabric. Loved Myf Shepherd in the opening look, a full length black asymmetrical gown with gold side zip and one ankle-length billowing arm. It’s always so funny to see Gary walk out afterwards dressed in a colourful mash of shorts over pants, patterns, stripes, bow tie and platform brogues after seeing such a clean, pared-back collection.
