We love photo collages. It probably stems from childhood scrapbooking obsessions. We've posted about Stella McCartney's past collaged campaigns, and we've hosted an exhibition of Benedict and Maggie Brink's collages in Edition, and now we think we might have found our favourite examples to date.
Dazed & Confused's December issue features a collaged editorial aptly titled 'Cut & Paste', to showcase Calvin Klein's latest collection. We love how the editorial plays with Francisco Costa's constant reinterpretation of minimalism and gives it a fresh representation, harking back to a kind of 1960s minimalism and the photography of Erwin Blumenfeld.
For anyone wanting to give this a crack at home, they have posted a beautiful behind the scenes clip which gives a little bit of insight into the process.
