'The September Issue' has taught us the all-importance of the ninth issue of the year for the big players in fashion publishing. It's the largest copy of the year, it has the biggest ad revenue and is also the most important issue of the year for its readers, designed to provide their loyal subjects with an encyclopedia to the new collections. 

It's fair to say alot is riding on the cover of the September issue, so we thought we'd take a look at all of the major Vogue editions to find out who you think did the best cover this year?  Let us know your thoughts, our favourites are Miranda for Italian Vogue, Marion Cotillard for French Vogue and Constance Jablonski on the cover of German Vogue.  That makes only two celebrity covers over ten model covers - are you happy to see models back at the helm of the biggest covers of the year?
