Givenchy may have dropped the number of looks in their couture collection by half this season, but what they reduced in quantity they made up for with a tight collection of ten mind-blowingly intricate looks that showcased the most complex couture techniques of lacework, beads and fringing. Moving away from the dark palettes that have ruled their past two couture seasons, Ricardo Tisschi’s Fall 10 collection continued that Gothic sensibility but this time in shades of cream, ivory, gold and a shot of soil brown.
It’s so invigorating to see this kind of breathtaking skill and intricacy, we hope they get their red carpet on someone worthy!
