Anna Plunkett and Luke Sales have teamed up with director Kris Moyes to create a short film featuring the current winter collection, Nightmare on Wall Street. The film stars model Tanya G as a thwarted investor who gets her just desserts in a masochistic blood bath. 

We chatted with the creative duo about the film and their latest crazy collection…

GS: This collection is inspired by "the horror of working 9-5", what is your best horror work story?

RWB: Ohhh gosh, where to start. HA!!!! We never take public holidays off for starters as there is always too much to do, so that's a horror right there...and once Luke sat on a pair of scissors on Australia Day and cut his thigh up really bad (and deep) so he spent the rest of the day in emergency....it was real blood and everything.

GS: Tell us about how you worked the themes of the collection into the in-house prints?

RWB: There's an underlying idea of the artificial - false nails, fake gems etc. We did a print of the galaxy but it's made of glitter and sequins and also a print that looks quite normal with watches and chains but when you look closer it has knives and scalpels.

GS: Tell us about the setting for the look book and film?

RWB: The house belongs to one of our good friends who lives there in Vaucluse. Her mum especially loves to decorate....they have silk carpet, Faberege eggs, dividers in the rooms to separate the staff/kids, Versace vases and a Versace style bathroom. They also have a leopard print movie room with a projector, dim lights and a love couch.

GS: What is your favourite outfit to wear from the collection?

RWB (Anna) : I am living in my denim hoochie jeans in glitter print and also loving my time is money sweater with the fake beaded rolexes and Romance dollar bills.

GS: Tell us about the concept for "City Lights".

RWB: We wanted to set a narrative around the "girl" of the collection. Tanya G plays this character called Katherine who starts off being a total rich high roller, than by the end is left with nothing much more than a savaged head as a weapon of choice.
