The shearling jacket is the ultimate winter-friendly-trend. Who doesn’t love the idea of cosying up to fashion’s version of the ancient Golden Fleece?
We certainly do. And there are plenty of options currently out there on the international stage. Hermés, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Balenciaga, Rick Owens, Opening Ceremony and Hussein Chayalan have all been sending out jackets of the fleecy variety; in everything from full cream and butterscotch hides, to shearling-collared, cropped denim jackets and super soft and curly black hide vest-jackets. A little closer to home, we’re loving Arabella Ramsay’s interpretation of the trend with the tweed Lumberjack Jacket with a soft shearling collar (above, $455)
