Just before Zanita jetted off to Los Angeles to star in the latest American Apparel campaign, we sent her backstage at the Ellery extravaganza to get us some up-close-and-personal shots of the clothes, the hair, the makeup, and the megawatt models.  She also shared with us why she thinks Ellery is a star in the making... 

It's so easy to see why Kym Ellery is a fave among Australia's 'It' girls. This girl is so on trend. She had all the stylists crooning in the front row and all the models gushing backstage. Australia's very original answer to Balmain's Christophe Decarnin, Kym is bringing some much needed 'young glamour' to Aussie fashion.

This season it was all about glitzy bell bottoms trousers, deconstructed asymmetrical jackets, tulip flare skirts and more sparkle than you can poke a stick at. And plenty of sweet black pieces for the more conservative fashionista too.

My favourite parts of the show were the feathered knee high boots and the make-up - I'd definitely be applying lashings of glitter to my face if it weren't such a bitch to remove. I can't wait to see Kym's latest and greatest collection feature in editorials everywhere, she's a fashion force to be reckoned with.
