Askill film wins award at Diane Pernet's fashion film festival

Daniel Askill's film, Nocturna, has been awarded the Le Book prize at the A Shaded View On Fashion Film festival in Paris.  The awards were presented at the Pompidou Centre last Friday September 24th. Judges this year included Mike Figgis, Michael Nyman, Paolo Roversi, Bryan Adams and Dita Von Teese. Read more

So when he released his latest collection in New York, this time taking his inspiration from ‘New York dolls’ in the glamour days of the ‘70s, you would expect nothing less than a riot of colour, satin, oversized flowers, hot pants, flared pantsuits and sheer, flowing dresses.
