The menswear collections in Milan have come to an end and will now move on to Paris. It was a week filled with highs, lows and many celebrations. Two of the biggest Milanese houses celebrated momentous anniversaries, Dolce & Gabbana for 20 years of menswear and Ermenegildo Zegna reaching a century in fashion. On top of the hype around these shows, the week also delivered some amazing collections, particularly new established labels such as Caruso, Corneliani and Umit Benan. Read more

This was one of our favourite dresses of the season, so it is amazing to see the journey from its inception with a sketch inspired by a Picasso exhibition, through to the careful selection of fabrics, the intricate pattern making and the collective process of sewing together the many facets on the dressmakers dummy to create the final product on the runway.Read more

As soon as we laid eyes on the cover of the latest edition of Numero magazine we fell in love. The soft lighting, the coral lip against Jac’s flowing brown locks and the swooping metallic silver sheath. Divine. This cover has us sold. We must get our hands on this issue as soon as it hits our shores so we can enjoy the full editorial. But what’s this? There’s no accompanying editorial? It’s just a lone cover shot? RAFW: bones and glitter with a twist at Bec & Bridge

Bec & Bridge’s third outing at RAFW put forward a unique mix of prehistoric glam. The tiered bone necklaces and accessories gave the Flintstones-esque feel while the luxe gold knits and beautiful mermaid-like scaled dresses gave an undeniable hit of slinky glamour. The collection played with a palette of subdued neutrals and pastels and focused on the details with the use of gathers and knotted fabrics throughout. There was plenty there for the casual wardrobe too, we can’t wait to get our hands on the hooded anoraks and we loved the layered look on Louise van de Vorst with the ripped up denim shirt worn over the maxi.
