The menswear collections in Milan have come to an end and will now move on to Paris. It was a week filled with highs, lows and many celebrations. Two of the biggest Milanese houses celebrated momentous anniversaries, Dolce & Gabbana for 20 years of menswear and Ermenegildo Zegna reaching a century in fashion. Bec & Bridge’s third outing at RAFW put forward a unique mix of prehistoric glam. The tiered bone necklaces and accessories gave the Flintstones-esque feel while the luxe gold knits and beautiful mermaid-like scaled dresses gave an undeniable hit of slinky glamour. The collection played with a palette of subdued neutrals and pastels and focused on the details with the use of gathers and knotted fabrics throughout. There was plenty there for the casual wardrobe too, we can’t wait to get our hands on the hooded anoraks and we loved the layered look on Louise van de Vorst with the ripped up denim shirt worn over the maxi.
