The modelling world can feel like such a cookie cutter production line sometimes. The same wide eyes, perfect pouts, long, light brown hair, killer cheekbones and petite noses. And then along comes a breath of fresh air with a unique look that grabs you. Like Julia Nobis. Read more

We just made it into Gary Bigeni’s show on time as the house lights dimmed. We were instantly met with a lovely floaty piece in light beige. As the models came out the clothing progressed through a pastel colour pallet of taupe, orange, pink and lavender. The quintessential Gary Bigeni style, the amazingly pattern made and executed draping silk jersey pieces didn’t disappoint but there were more tailored pieces which were beautiful and we were very excited to see them especially the tailored orange leather jacket. I arrived solo and the seat to my right, Jenna's seat, was swiftly stolen by a greedy Nookie fan. The gift bags either side of me were snatched quickly by girls in the next row back. It was mental. The line outside was bigger than most during the week, snaking around the Emerge suites and overflowing with excited fashionistas and guys wearing hair gel. Read more
