The photographer widely credited with discovering 15-year old Kate Moss has lost her ten-year battle with a brain tumour.
Corrine Day heralded a new age in photography when the grainy images from this shoot hit the press back in 1990. Reacting to the high-glamour of the late '80s, Day's work was a revelation, bringing a new wave of realism, rawness and honesty that continues to be highly influential today.
To celebrate her life and work, here are some of our favourite images from the iconic photographer.
