Jersey Shore, Britney Spears and the advent of the acrylic nail manicure AND pedicure have done a great job of forever destroying the French manicure for any style-abiding citizen. But we have some good news, the French manicure has had a reinvention courtesy of Yves Saint Laurent.

And this time it's all about bold colour.  Fuschia and orange, plum and gold and jade and purple are some of the combinations available in the YSL duo sets.  And the best thing about this trend is you can try it out with any of your colourful nailpolishes at home.  Experiment with pastel pinks with a silver tip, baby blue with coral or midnight blue and bronze.
