We sent our favourite model/photographer/blogger Zanita Whittington backstage at the Ginger & Smart show to shoot the show from behind the scenes and give you a close up look at their new collection "The Transcendant". 

Zanita also shared with us her take on the show...

Ginger and Smart were one of the first shows to kick off S/S 2010-2011 RAFW and the models backstage were enthusiastic and full of energy, each girl sporting elegant pieces that floated as she moved, with soft and layered pastels and graphic and futuristic prints. 

Genevieve and Alexandra's latest collection titled "The Transcendant" was inspired by "that really blissful moment between waking and dreaming" and again illustrated the sisters dedication to fine workmanship and quality materials. Short and silky harem pants, dresses with ruffle featuring and draping were contrasted with structured trenches and coats and paired with perforated suede handbags to create a modern and effortless look. 

Another stellar collection for the business savvy duo who been recently accredited by Ethical Clothing Australia.
