This Week's Picks - Dee Jenner of Delightful

22 July, 2009

This week we peek into the world of Sydney blogger Dee Jenner, creator of the Delightful blog, as she shares with us her five favourite things at The Grand Social. Dee's fashion-focused blog has only just celebrated it's first birthday and has already caught the attention of some people high places, with UK Vogue picking featuring the site among their 'favourite fashion blogs' alongside the internationally reverred sites of Garance Dore, StyleBubble and FashionToast. Impressed? You should be!

"This slick fashion journal pulls beautiful imagery from all your favourite style magazines. Expect a nonchalant Lula-meets-Terry Richardson aesthetic from a blogger with a penchant for studs, sunglasses and a sweet obsession with unicorns." - UK VOGUE

CHRONICLES OF NEVER Optic Thalamus sungasses shop here $250

These Chronicles Of Never/Graz sunnies are amazing. I was actually eyeing them off over the weekend as my friend has a pair in black. They are a very flattering shape and a great alternative to the ubiquitous wayfarer.

E L L E R Y Barnacle boot shop here $990

The first time I laid eyes on these boots was in a Russh editorial with Tallulah and I knew I needed them. I wear my pair all the time - they are seriously the perfect black boot.

SEVENTH WONDERLAND Grace bikini shop here on sale was $179 now $107.40

With Summer on the way - cute bikinis are starting to catch my attention. I adore the bow shaped halter top on this Seventh Wonderland two piece and black is always a great colour for bikinis because it's simple and chic. Just add massive sunnies and a cocktail and you're ready to hit poolside.

ROMANCE WAS BORN Eskimo Dilli Bag shop here $920

I couldn't live without an enormous bag because I'm always needing to carry around my phone, wallet, ipod, camera, make up, food, mags etc etc. This Romance Was Born bag is not only big enough to fit all my junk in, but with the soft slouchy leather, braided strap and fringe detail, it looks good at the same time.

NATHAN SMITH Oversize tee with tie shop here $79.95

For me, well cut and comfy basics are essential. I love and live in great fitting singlets and tees in white, black and grey and can never have too many. This Nathan Smith t-shirt is the perfect white t-shirt that would look just as good with denim cut offs for the beach as it would with killer heels, a little black bandage skirt and a bright red lip for a big night out.
