Our next piece in a series of trend reports that we created for our friends at NW magazine. We hunted down the very hottest runway trends from our trip to New York and packaged them up so you can be wearing them by the weekend!
TREND: PASTELS
In keeping with the current 80s revival, pastels have hit the New York runway with force this season. We love the full matching look but if you want to test the waters, start with a pastel cotton shirt in pale peach or mint, worn open with rolled sleeves or tied at the waist. Or try a pastel pink or blue swimsuit in a vintage cut.

Marc Jacobs (above) and Tommy Hilfiger went for head-to-toe matching pastel looks in muted pinks, peaches and blues.

Calvin Klein went for a muted palette throughout the collection, but played with some colour in the form of dusty pastel pinks, peaches, yellows and greens.
